It was back in 2013 that Guns N Roses fans had not just one but two reasons to be excited. Axl Rose and co were making their India debut in Bangalore, Mumbai and Gurgaon and their former axeman Slash aka Saul Hudson was also rumoured to be touring India. While GNR came and gave fans something to cheer about, it’s Slash’s turn come November, with two India shows confirmed as part of music and adventure sports festival MTV Indies Xtreme.
The second edition of the festival is being headlined by Slash’s band, which features vocalist Myles Kennedy (from Alter Bridge) and the Conspirators. MTV Indies Xtreme, which kicked off in February last year in Delhi NCR with thrash metal veterans Megadeth headlining, are all set to keep the heavy music coming. Slash, who is also part of bands such as Velvet Revolver and has collaborated with the likes of Michael Jackson, has teamed up with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators to perform in Mumbai on November 7, followed by a show in Bengaluru on November 14. They are currently promoting Slash’s third solo album, World On Fire, which released last year.
