I wouldn't pay 10 Rupees for a Meshuggah concert unless its followed by a better band like Dementra or TSC. But it's surprising how Meshuggah fans are cribbing about it (maybe deep within they know it's not worth it, but whatever).

You paid 800, 1000, 1300 for your Maiden, Megadeth, Mr. Big etc but it didn't bother you because it was "Rock In India" or whatever fancy name they chose. Now when a 200rs RSJ event suddenly asks you to shell out 1k for a band you are literally cumming yourself over it hits you? Why cause you are just used to GIR being a 200rs event? But you still expect these bands to play for you?

Lame. Your cribbing just shows disrespect to the band and the organisers who are doing so much to get them down here.

arey kaunsey meshuggey phan ne kaha hai ki tickeyet mehengi hai?

2000 over two days is way too expensive. Maiden, LOG did not cost as much and they are way more commercially sucessful than Meshuggah,Tesseract.

Thats because you don't have a job and can't afford it. We on the other hand actually work and have no problems paying 2000 for two days of great music.

Dude, coming from you, a guy who forces his idiotic opinions on everyone and considers himself an "elitist" is just nonsense.
It is too expensive, wheather you guys like it or not. Instead of replying to my original point you took a shot at me for no reason. How many shows have you gone to around the country?
I went for Maiden all three times, LOG, Porcupine Tree, Last 4 GIRs, Textures,Sepultura, any half decent band that comes to India. What was your excuse for not coming for ANY of these gigs bitch? I saved back in college and went for these gigs, dint whine about the fact that they make crappy music.
Shut the fuck up and try to make sense next time around. I dont care if its costing RSj too much, my point from a fans point of view is that it is too expensive simply because Ive seen much bigger bands for much less.

Dear Little One,
Dont get your panties in a bunch. Kudos to you for saving up. But all those times you've had to travel figure out lodging etc etc you get to see 4 awesome bands over two days it is not 2000 bucks because you can choose if you dont want to come for one day itll only cost you 1100 which is cheaper than everything you have seen probably barring textures at IIT which honestly is not a real show. Anyhow opinions are like assholes everyone has them flustercluck is entitled to his and so are you. But on a personal note it is not expensive and you saying that you don't care if it costs RSJ alot well then just dont come. But you still will and you still will want to buy some original Meshuggah merchandise and you still would want to get it signed and if you do end up buying your tickets now two days would cost you 1299 for 2 days so that's cheaper than LOG, or Maiden AGAIN.
So shut your trap buy your ticket (if you want to that is) and come and check out what you really want to check out.

@sid - Dude you miss the point, I can comeback with an equally insulting reply but its not worth it. I will come it if cost 4000 also, but it doesnt stop me from thinking that its overpriced, its just my opinion. You start a thread and a poll, to which i give my opinion, which doesnt bode well with you guys and you start abusing ? WTF?
Why does everyone in RSJ start getting defensive for no reason? You guys are already deleting peoples post etc. What are you trying to prove? People like fustercluck werent even around when the old forum exsisted, yet he pisses people off here, who have been involved with the scene when he was still in China. Who would you respect, really?
Deleting posts = fail on so many different levels its not even funny.
