@sid - Dude you miss the point, I can comeback with an equally insulting reply but its not worth it. I will come it if cost 4000 also, but it doesnt stop me from thinking that its overpriced, its just my opinion. You start a thread and a poll, to which i give my opinion, which doesnt bode well with you guys and you start abusing ? WTF?
Why does everyone in RSJ start getting defensive for no reason? You guys are already deleting peoples post etc. What are you trying to prove? People like fustercluck werent even around when the old forum exsisted, yet he pisses people off here, who have been involved with the scene when he was still in China. Who would you respect, really?
Deleting posts = fail on so many different levels its not even funny.

Involved in the scene? by doing exactly what? posting a thousand times on a forum. Stop spending your dads money and get a fucking job you jackass.

intense.

Let me get this straight. The topic for this thread is Great Indian Rock Festival Ticket Prices Debate with the following first post.

What is your take on the pricing for this years tickets for Great Indian Rock Festival?

To which i replied.

Dhruv wrote:
2000 over two days is way too expensive. Maiden, LOG did not cost as much and they are way more commercially sucessful than Meshuggah,Tesseract.

Then the two replies i get for citing my opinion on a thread where it asks me to by RSJ employees are

Thats because you don't have a job and can't afford it. We on the other hand actually work and have no problems paying 2000 for two days of great music.

Why ask for an opinion if you guys dont want it?

Dude, coming from you, a guy who forces his idiotic opinions on everyone and considers himself an "elitist" is just nonsense.
It is too expensive, wheather you guys like it or not. Instead of replying to my original point you took a shot at me for no reason. How many shows have you gone to around the country?
I went for Maiden all three times, LOG, Porcupine Tree, Last 4 GIRs, Textures,Sepultura, any half decent band that comes to India. What was your excuse for not coming for ANY of these gigs bitch? I saved back in college and went for these gigs, dint whine about the fact that they make crappy music.
Shut the fuck up and try to make sense next time around. I dont care if its costing RSj too much, my point from a fans point of view is that it is too expensive simply because Ive seen much bigger bands for much less.

Dhruv Arora's Paying History

Last 4 Gir's - Free coz of RSJ
Porcupine Tree - Free coz of RSJ
Textures - Free coz of RSJ
Sepultura - Free coz of RSJ

I agree a 100% with Dhruv and Nirvanaholic here. Why start a thread on a subject asking questions that you don't want answers to ? To call people out to disagree with you only to shout them down seems unnecessary confrontational to me.

And the deleting of posts is just pitiful. You're basically narrowing down the options to a) agree with us or b) get abused and get your opinions deleted.

For the record, I think the prices are very cheap for a concert of this scale.

I'm paying $178 to watch Maiden here in Singapore

  N00pdawg tune muje pichle saal bhi yahi bola tha when I said something about the choice of bands in the last year's GIR. I think either you find these two words very orgasmic or you actually get paid by RSJ for repeating this phrase every year around the time of GIR whenever someone presents his own opinion about your organization or festival that does't blend with yours?
