Any idea/info/rumor about the iPhone 5? I have 3gs and want to see what the new one is like, or I'm switching to an Android.

^I own an Android (Motorola Droid X), and love it. The Motoblur is not great, but overall, no complaints. But, if I were buying a phone right now, it would be the Verizon iPhone 4.

I don't know about the rumours, but my gut feeling is that it's true. Maybe AT&T gets the 4G first... which means it doesn't even count as something buyable.

Isn't AT&T branding 3.5G as 4G and conning its customers? Or was that some other network?

That's AT&T. There are no written laws in the U.S about how to define and brand a network as 4G so ATT is taking that fact and like you said, conning the customers.

I don't like the iPhone 4 at all. And I don't care for a 4G network. I just want a new phone, and that's why I want to know about the next iPhone.

AT&T's reputation is irreparably damaged at least for the short term. So their 4G advertising campaign is ludicrous. They should be doing damage control instead of acting like there's nothing wrong and that the perception of their network will improve if they keep saying it's awesome. Idiots. They are going to get killed as iPhone users leave for Verizon.

Apple's exclusive contract to AT&T probably caused a pretty big dent in their iphone numbers as well, especially since America is pretty important when it comes to iPhone sales. With Android catching up fast in terms of units sold and activated, I wonder how much of an impact the iPhone on Verizon will have. I'm predicting a surge in the beginning, but I think Android will catch up pretty fast.

No one has any opinion on how Apple is conveniently dumping old iPads in India, and at the same time our compromised media is all gung-ho about it?
