Absolutely horrible...

Thursday 11 November, 2010
Season over for Inzaghi

The season is over for Pippo Inzaghi after damaging knee ligaments, while Alexandre Pato will miss games against Inter and Fiorentina.

Milan were celebrating the leadership of Serie A and their 3-1 victory over Palermo last night, but it came at a heavy price.

“AC Milan announce that the player Filippo Inzaghi underwent tests this morning which confirmed the lesion of the anterior cruciate ligament and associated lesion to the external meniscus of the left knee,” read a statement.

“After a specialist consultation with Dr Piero Volpi, a surgical intervention was advised.”

This means the season is effectively over for Inzaghi and it remains to be seen if he can ever play again, as the striker is already 37 years old.

 Just cause no one scored?

My heart was rushing every time there was a switch in possession. Both were dangerously close to scoring every 5 minutes. It was a frustrating match as a fan, but it definitely wasn't lame.

From a nuetral point of view it was a boring game, City at home were playing with 3 defensive midfielders.
Both dangerously close to scoring every 5 minutes? were you high , what game were you watching?

With Chelsea and Arsenal winning before the match even began, I was on an anxiety high. So every small opportunity sent my BP soaring high.

Beat Chelsea win the title, its gonna be as simple as that. Arsenal is gonna self destruct and City isnt even gonna finish 4th.

Stoke all over them now. What a truly dreadful dirge of a game. Do Liverpool have anyone capable of playing a positive, forward pass ? So far it's been - Midfielders get the ball, pass it back, defenders pass it amongst themselves for a bit then to Reina or Carragher, and then HOOOOOOOFF in to orbit. Repeat ad infinitum.
