Barring the actual 'interest in the field' aspect, if you see Kaustubh's grades, it becomes easy to deduce that jumping to any field would begin with the institution sending him a chauffeured car to pick him up from the airport.
My grades were pretty fucked up in engg. It was the projects I had which backed me up well.
