If the term "jazz metal" actually meant something, this would be it. Ridiculous jazz drumming and bass lines and free-form song structures. Most of you guys know Stef Broks for his work with Textures, but with this project he showcases his jazz chops to the maximum. Phenomenal.

Also, I've been listening to Male Bonding, a lo-fi noise pop band with grunge overtones. Check out their debut album Nothing Hurts. I think it shows a lot of promise. Plus I like the Nirvana vibe.

keshav excivious.. sounds familiar.. ive heard something like this before.. I dont know what.. thordendals solo project ? i cant put my finger on it but definately heard something very very similar.. anyways i wont call this jazz metal .. its actually just off time jazz by metalheads

^Nope, it's progressive. The bass sounds a bit jazzy at times, though. Too bad they didn't get more attention.

Ravager - Formed by Antimo Buonnano former Disgorge (mex) vocalist, this band is a solid recco especially if you are fan of the primitive sounding black / death ilk
