Sadly this ADF is sans Dr Das and Deedar Zaman and we'll never get to see the "original" ADF, I guess. And when I was younger, I really wanted to. I dunno where it disappeared on my list of "must watch" with all the new music and time BUT I'd heard nothing like ADF when I did hear them. From rebel warrior to borrowed tapes to reading about the asian diaspora and telling my dad about the scene there. Good memories!

There aren't many chances of this being canceled. The organizers are obviously more connected with the crowd, and have their experience along with the IMF disaster to learn from.

Apart from that, FUCKING AWESOME SHIZNIT! Multi-day multi-stage open air festival, with all the bands we love and artists like ADF and Susheela Raman. Who the fuck even thought about that? And I think 1,500 is a fucking kickass price tag for this, considering the bands and that it's in Pune. Really, really looking forward to this.

Although yeah, once they started about topping this with the other "creative" areas, that made it look like something's being tried too hard and I might be disappointed. Hey, don't blame the skeptic.

This is going to be insanity. Really looking forward to it. Got Friday off from work, need to figure out travel and stay scenes.
