8-)

Set'z in DLF Emporio Mall, Vasant Kunj- My favorite restaurant. Really, this place is too fucking brilliant. And one would expect 5 star rates, but it's cheaper than that, though still pretty expensive, but worth every paisa. (Why write penny?) Amazing crowd (mostly), amazing food be it Coastal, North Indian, Chinese, Italian, Japanese or Arabic! What a sexy place this is really. Wont be surprised if such a place is coming up in Mumbai or Bangalore soon! For those who can afford it, this is a must visit!

Gunpowder in Hauz Khas Village is another brilliant place. Pretty sure that they're running the place illegally, but I don't fucking care! They serve South Indian (not dosa, idly etc) but stuff like Koothu Porotta, Chicken Korma, Kerala prawns, etc etc. When you get such brilliant food on a roof top restaurant overlooking a huge park with a lake inside and HOT firgangs around you, you have to visit it. And I AM NOT kidding, a meal for 2 would be Rs. 666/- without alcohol. (This is what my bill was ! )

Mumbai Times Cafe in Mumbai is also a sexy place. For all you football loving chuts, they show all matches on the roof top and serve hookah , alcohol and sexxy food . Went when I was in Mumbai 2 weeks ago, sahi jagah thi. Chilled beer, prawns, bacon, cheese and ham . Couldn't have asked for anything more besides that they were showing football on TV and not cricket!

Believe me I miss this thread, I think this is the only topic where I make sense. :D

being in UK i can easily say a toast spread with tar on it is better than "British cuisine". Someone needs to tell them fish & chips and meat pies are not cuisines.

Few places off the top of my head:

Bangalore:
(1) The only place - One end of museum road. Try the burgers. The steaks are good when they are rare.
(2) Arsalan - Koramangala, near furtados. If you like Calcutta/Lucknow style Mughlai Biryani, this is the place.
(3) Bangalore Bistro - Brigade road, near Eva mall. One of the best steaks I have had in India.
(4) Take5 - 100 ft rd Indiranagar, on top of the CCD. For awesome pork chops etc.

I'll make extended Bangalore and Calcutta lists later.
