Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music To Conduct A Five Day Summer Camp From June 23 - 27

Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music has announced the opening of application for their five day summer camp program to be held from June 23 - 27, bringing together a faculty of some of the best musicians and instrumentalist from around the world. 

Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music has announced the acceptance of applications to their five day summer camp to be held from June 23 – 27 at their campus in Chennai, comprising a faculty of virtuoso musicians from around the world. The camp has been designed to cover beyond just specific instruments and include all aspects of being a musician by furnishing a myriad of facilities including masterclasses, technique labs, ensembles, an introduction to music production at their studio, and more apart from the diverse musical environment that one will be suspended in all day.

The faculty for this edition of the summer camp includes drummer Phil Maturano, vocalist Peggy Larson, carnatic percussionist Prapancham Ravindran, guitarist and producer Ed DeGenaro, bassist Steve Zerlin, and carnatic vocalist Sreyas Narayanun rounding up one mammoth collaborative of musical academia. SAM has been recognized by many for the genius and diverse intellect of the faculty, and the attendees of the camp who include musicians from all forms and cultures. The tuition for the full five day program is Rs 20,000, including discounts for bands with four or more members signing up together. Bands signing up together also hold an opportunity to record on SAM's best and unique collection of studio equipment. Attendees of the camp will also have the opportunity to sign up for the one year diploma course in music production which begins this fall semester in August, pegged to be the most intensive sound engineering courses available.
