Rock On!! And Get Featured On RSJ

May 19, 01:47pm

RSJ along with Songdew opened up registration for Rock On!! on May 15. Rock On!! invites all artist and bands to sign up and stand the chance of winning the opportunity to be featured on Rock Street Journal.

India’s first music magazine - Rock Street Journal - has put in its efforts along with artists social network Songdew to bring to the good folk of the Indian music circuit, Rock On!!, a contest solely dedicated to promote upcoming bands and artists rising in the Indian music scene. Here’s the kicker, the submissions opened up on May 15, and the last date for applications is June 10; bands and artists from any genre signing up for the contest stand the opportunity of being featured on Rock Street Journal if they emerge victorious. If you’re the kid that hides away in the room making music that nobody else knows about, or if you’re kicking it on stage every weekend gig, or if you simply recorded a couple of songs you wrote for the flying heck of it; click on your browser, visit Songdew, sign up for Rock On!!, and seize the opportunity to become part of the richest legacy in the Indian music scene.

Rock Street Journal’s first release was in 1993, blessing a generation of music lovers in the country with a bridge between them and the world of music around them when there was no ‘music scene’. Promoting upcoming artists with a finger always on the pulse of the music circuit along with the intrinsic nature to create trends and tastes, Rock Street Journal has gathered a fanatical brotherhood of musicians and music lovers devoted to a simple motto: it is all about the music.

Bands can visit the official website for more information, and apply online.
